タイトル DSGRN: A Novel Approach to Organizing Dynamics of Regulatory Networks
概要 Due to Experimental, Algorithmic and Statistical advances there are a multitude of means of generating plausible network models specifying the character of the interactions between genes, proteins and signaling molecules.  However, in and of themselves these network models have limited power to elucidate the mechanisms of complex regulation, because the specific dynamics is governed by initial conditions and parameter values which are typically unknown or at best poorly measured.
Dynamic Signatures Generated by Regulatory Networks (DSGRN) has been designed to overcome this challenge. Starting with a regulatory network, it generates a queryable database of possible dynamics which contains an explicit decomposition of parameter space and information about what dynamics occurs at which parameter values.
Using extremely simple models this talk will explain how DSGRN functions and more importantly describe the information stored in DSGRN.

概要 This talk will explain how DSGRN can be used to generate and analyze regulatory network models.  We will discuss two examples.  First, ​we show ​how to construct potential regulatory networks​  from time series data of gene expression​ in a malaria parasite.  ​ Second, ​we show ​how to select minimal models for regulatory networks​ governing cell division checkpoint based on their dynamic behavior.
