Mathematics-Based Creation of Science (MACS) Program

Introduction

The MACS program at the Kyoto University (KU) Graduate School of Science aims to train junior scientists and researchers to (i) lead multidisciplinary research collaborations among its five divisions with a focus on mathematical science, (ii) explore new research frontiers that are currently inaccessible, and (iii) find and solve multidisciplinary challenges from a transdisciplinary perspective. Students will form study groups with several academic staff members of the School and engage in multidisciplinary research and training.
